Jody, Terry, Joey, Kim, Alex, Madison, there are lots. Some have different spellings for male and females, but I've seen the male versions used for either.

Selah is a name I love. It means ‘pause of breath’. A hebrew name, I think. Used for both females and males, sounds nice.

My favorite is Robin -- it's kind of timeless.

I use Mercury to avoid any possible gender bias, since most people probably wouldn't hear Mercury and think "Mercury is a boy's/girl's name." It's an odd name to some, but it works better that my first option of Max for me, since Max had a gender connotation in my mind. You might hear "Max" and think "That's a boy's name."
So, long story short, Mercury is a possibility.

I like Rowan for a gender neutral name and other plant names can often work like Ash

I love the idea of colour names. Like calling yourself “red,” “blue,” “grey.” Something like that.
