Hey there writers of the forum! What's your favorite genre for writing? and why? In my case, I'm not that sure. I like very much fantasy novels and rn I'm even planning a fantasy/coming-of-age story as an experiment in the genre. I also like novels, and a bit less so thrillers.

    What about you??

Definitely fantasy. I had a very abusive childhood and fantasy books were my only escape. They were my chance to go to a world where happy endings existed and heroes could always fend for themselves and I desperately needed both.
So as an adult, it brings me great pleasure to think my stories might be someone's escape when they need one ^_^
