I've got one. I use it sometimes when I'm really worked up and I just need the release. Tried it just now and got to about 1:50 before I had to stop and wipe my eyes.

Yeah, I know it's weird. I'm ok with it. :D

Without going into the details (which I'm not comfortable sharing publicly yet), I'll just say this song reminds me of someone. And it gets me every time

This song makes me tear up when listening to it. It's like a song I'd sing to say goodbye to my toxic mom. Like even though she is toxic and a narc, I love her still but now I have to go from that relationship. Hope that makes sense. Just listen to the lyrics, they really hit you in the feels. They did/do for me. I feel like a majority of Sawano Hiroyuki composed songs always get to me because they're so impactful to me.

As a kid this song always made me cry because back then I felt completely alone and the message of "holding on together" just sank that feeling deeper. At the same time it gave me hope that one day I would be able to find someone (or several someones) who'd take me away from my abusive parents. Some days I dared to hope, but mostly I didn't.

This song still makes me cry today, half for my lost childhood and experiences I missed that will never come back and half because it brings back all that pain and loneliness. And yet, for some reason, I still love the song.

These songs always help me let my emotions out because I have blocked up most of my emotions

I tend not to cry from listening to music but there's this one sad song I like that is about domestic violence. Trigger warning if anyone listens to it.

I don't really have songs that I cry about. But this one is one that's gets me to tear up. Christmas shoe.

It doesn't make me cry, but this song has a very special place in my heart. Dan and I went to different High Schools in the same city. His father (for whom the song is written) was the band leader at his school, but in the Summer they combined kids from all the High Schools who wanted to stay in band in the Summer, into one band. I was in that Summer band for three years, and Dan's father was "The Leader of the Band," and led us to first place at the State Fair, all three of those years. I think my favorite phrase in all of music and literature is the reference Dan makes to his father's "Thundering velvet hand." Pure genius, combining the words "thundering," and "velvet" -- evokes very powerful imagery for me. I have felt the touch of that thundering velvet hand, and know exactly why Dan chose those words. I sing the song often at Karaoke -- it doesn't make me cry, but I often get tears in my eyes when I sing that line.

    Hugs,
    Audry Leigh
