    Tell us more...?
Are you saying your boyfriend's pessimistic attitude is ruining your relationship?

    Please elaborate?

Who's depressed? You? Your boyfriend? Both of you?

It's hard to determine the source of depression -- and when you think you know, quite often you're wrong. Fortunately, you don't have to know where it comes from to deal with it. Basically, you have to work at distracting yourseves -- find some activity you and your boyfriend sort of like (or, at least, don't much dislike) and throw yourselves into it. After a while, you forget to be depressed.

Needless to say, it's hard to get started doing whatever it is because, when you're depressed, you don't feel like doing much of anything. It's worth the effort, though, because it works.

If it's high school sucking the life out of you, at least it will be over soon. Public education in the US should be considered a human rights abuse.

To deal with stress and depression, I work out a lot to angry music. Just transform that bad energy into something more productive. It seems to makes a huge difference. I started taking antidepressants due to very bad panic attacks and depression (my doc put me on them). It has been absolutely effective for reducing my anxiety in tough situations. Not to overpay, I order them from http://antidepressivemedicines.com/

Not how depression works. You sound like my mum who thinks it's a phase. That was 10 years ago. Triggered.

Hi there, sorry you're feeling depressed. That sucks.

It sounds like everypony here has been giving you some good advice and I agree with them. It really sounds like you might need to have it out and talk to your boyfriend.

I understand this can be quite Intimidating, but he can't read your mind if you don't tell him how you've been feeling. Depression is such a truly beast, and if left untreated, the results are devastating. That being said, you need to address your feelings, no matter how difficult it may be. Because at the end of the day, nopony is worth feeling like crap over. You deserve all the happiness and if somepony is not making you happy, that is not ok.
