Hey! I’m Evan, I’m gender fluid. Does anyone have any tips for coming out to parents? Thanks!

Hi Evan and welcome to the family. Glad you found us!

As for your question...confidence and decisiveness (you didn't say it had to be easy :p ).
Unless you have amazingly supportive parents, if you come out to them being all uncertain and shamed they will not respect you and feeling your uncertainty they will probably try to convince you that "it's a phase" and you'll outgrow it.
So my advice is, don't look for approval, just inform them of the reality. Bonus points is, if you don't make a big deal out of it they might not either and you'll be set :)
