You can always be curious about what things are like on the other side of the fence. It is how you wish to act on them and if you wish to act on them that helps move the needle.

That is my view and I maybe wrong - Jo

I agree with Jo A. I see it as, "hmm I wonder what that would be like, it looks like it might be what I am looking for." = bicurious; "I want, no need that!" = bisexual. Insert which ever orientation into "that" you want and it works.

Now, this is the "simple" answer in my opinion. There is so much more. I think the questioning is in your head and not your heart and it is a bitch to read your own heart.

ahh it depends where you read lol. I guess it varies from person to person. I'm still not sure of the difference between bicurious and heteroflexible. I guess it's like saying heteroflexible isn't specifically attracted to the same sex, but would enjoy an encounter?? Bi curiuos to me is exactly that, there's uncertainty.. "well maybe I'd try, I wonder what it's like" " Bisexual is more " I want to try that" Also, if having experiences that were enjoyed, then probably have crossed from bicurious to bisexual. There's no more wondering at that point lol.

I think bicurious can stand as long as we want it to.

I think it means whatever we need it to, as the person using it.

What would it mean in the purest sense? Maybe "I have no sense of attraction but I wonder if I would have some fun?" I believe this would be a rare manifestation thanks to the powerful heteronormative, without something tipping the balance.

Of course not all curious monosexuals are hetero :)

And this bisexual might talk out his arse...

    :)

i've always thought bicurious is 'i might be bi i might not be but I'm down to experiment to find out' and bisexual is just 'im bi'

Hi. I believe that would be a common interpretation :)

That's just it all of the various labels are really just interpretations. I think that is one of the things that makes it so damn confusing and leads to much of the questioning in the first place.
