    The descent

Even at face value this is a great horror movie. It's about a group of friends who explore an undocumented cave system. It doesn't take long before things go bad. The cave opening collapses early on and they are left with no choice but to descend further into the cave in Hope's of finding another exit. Add in some human-esqe murdering cave creatures and its just good old fun.

But there's actually a lot going on. Trust, jealousy, grief, anger, revenge. Some of it takes a few times of watching to catch it all. But even just one time and just caring about the claustrophobia and cave creatures it's a modern classic. But imo it's well worth watching again to catch how deep the movie actually goes. ( that's a lot of buts. Lol. But w/e :D  )

    When a stranger calls

Your gonna want to watch the 79 original version though. That remake is awful. Like most are smh.

The callers voice is so dry and creepy.

Just from the trailer you can see how much it inspired the opening of scream.

Day 28 The Craft and The Craft: Legacy
I love the original Craft i just watched the sequel that came out today it was actually good I was a bit surprised as sequels tend to be a little lackluster but I really enjoyed it I'd give it a 7 out of 10 it's worth a watch if you enjoy the original

    Something a little different.
Dragula search for the world's next super monster.

It's a drag competion show based on a pretty legendary "pageant" held in LA. Its hosted by the boulet brothers. And every season has had so many improvements. It started very grass roots on youtube. And then was produced by a Amazon prime. And recently was included on the horror subscription site shudder. ( I hope it stays there.)

The entire show is based around horror and has some horror icons as guest judges. Plus these que...monsters are on a totally different level then drag race.
It's much more inclusive of the entire LGBTQ community. From Male to female to trans to bisexual. All that matters is that your good at the alternative drag style.

The first one maybe 2 seasons are available on YouTube. The first is pretty low budget but it delivers.

^^OH, the one with Paris Hilton.:p

A good urban tale based on the classic bloody Mary legend. It's actually a good movie. Loosely based on a Clive Barker short story.

    Candyman

Has anyone seen the 2020 version?

I watched this last night and was happy with it.

It's your basic home invasion movie. But the homeowner is a deaf woman living alone in the country.
I had never heard of it before. It's nice to stumble onto movies like that.
Got another one I'm gonna try tonight. It's hot good reviews so fingers crossed

Jayme82 Fantastic list that was worth waiting for. As I did way-back-when rated the ones I have seen with a Star and the ones I have not seen yet with a Like.

Gonna add Bit, Midsommar and Happy Birthday To Me and Seoul Station to my list of movies to watch next.

Did not even know about the movie The Craft: Legacy.. after watching the trailer...not sure how I feel about that. When something is good it's sometimes best to just leave it the F alone. Not try and add on to it with something that could tarnish the original.

Will check back later to see what trick-or-treat comes with today's Day 31 Of Screams to finish off the list.

    Happy Halloween xoxoxoxo

    Raw

This is a graphic film. It's about a girl who goes to college and grows an appetite for some "specialty" food items. Its just weird and a kinda wtf kinda movie. Its French though so unless you speak it your gonna rely on subtitles. But I think it comes standard with English subtitles. It did for me on moviebox
